The $400 million Myalup-Wellington Project will create new opportunities for agricultural productivity and intensity in the Collie and Myalup regions by addressing the rising salinity of Wellington Dam.
With grants totalling $175 million, this project has strong Federal and State Government support. The project has various component parts – both above and below Wellington Dam – that link to sectors beyond agriculture.
Project proponent Collie Water will explain this multi-component project, and provide an update on progress to date. Project off taker Harvey Water will provider an overview of the potential benefits to agribusiness.
